Owner’s Biography

Vince Modarelli was the Advertising Manager for The News-Press in South Lee and Collier Counties and the Publisher of Bonita Business News. Vince has 13 years experience in advertising sales, starting with Thompson Newspapers in Youngstown, Ohio. He moved to Tampa in 1998 where he worked as a division manager for The Tampa Tribune and TBO.com. Vince was hired by Gannett Corporation in 2004 to manage the growth of their 46 products in the lucrative Southwest Florida marketplace and his immediate impact resulted in “Advertising Manager of the Year” awarded in 2006 by The News-Press, and again in 2007!

Identifying a community and advertiser need in North Naples, Vince built the business model for a community newspaper to serve Pine Ridge Road north to the county line. That idea was realized in October of 2006 with the inaugural issue of Naples Life. That weekly community publication is direct-mailed to about 30,000 North Naples residents in-season and offers small businesses an opportunity to target a specific community.

Vince’s community focus is evident by his recent recognition by The Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce as “2005-2006 Pat Lord Award for Volunteerism and Stewardship” as well as The Rotary Club of Bonita Springs Noon “2005-2006 Service Above Self” award winner.

Vince has been a resident of Estero since 2004, where he lives with his wife Natalie, son Vincent IV, and daughter Sophia.
